We are the provider of choice for a number of United Nations (UN) organisations who need to translate specialised documents into, or from, the UN’s official languages, principally English, French, Spanish, Russian, Chinese and Arabic. In addition, we design and localise document layouts for publication in multiple languages.

Building on a solid record of experience as translators working within the United Nations system, in 2008, a small team of linguists formed Excelcis, laying the foundations for a company that is now a leading provider of translation services in Switzerland. Excelcis operates in over 20 languages, with deep expertise in the technical, legal, biomedical and finance fields.

The scope of Excelcis’ work, which initially focused on translation only, has progressively broadened to form a comprehensive multilingual communications offering. This includes graphic design, document typesetting and layout or formatting in multiple languages, a service that meets our clients’ growing needs for publishing solutions that can be deployed globally.

Today, Excelcis is a full-service provider of multilingual communication solutions, from content translation and graphic design to digital and print publishing.
